The building was to be erected between the compartment walls of the adjacent properties. The client requested a loft building in Berlin-Mitte that could be adapted to create a flexible floor plan for commercial and residential purposes. In response, we proposed a building constructed from precast concrete elements spanning 8 metres. This allowed the building to house a series of flexible units.
