The commission was to convert the attic of a listed building, into a loft apartment. The roof construction itself could not be altered. The 90m² space is lit by three dormers and 3 large skylights. A terrace was added on at the garden side of the building. The loft is a continuous space; only the bathroom and a guest area can be separated temporarily by sliding doors.
