Concept and design

The mural - designed to be installed at Sironi’s pizzeria in Schöneberg, Berlin - was generated from a pixelation algorithm written specifically for the project. The image is of the infamous moment shorty after Roberto Baggio missed the decisive penalty kick in 1994, giving Brazil their fourth World Cup victory. The mural was to be executed in enamel tiles.
