A 125m² attic space of a listed building was to be converted into a loft apartment. The roof construction could not be altered. The existing original windows were preserved, while minimal aluminium frames with glazing were added internally.
The loft's various living areas can be temporarily separated by mobile storage elements and textile screens. The sleeping area can be separated by noctilucent textile screens, which are charged during the day by natural light and then glow at night.
Realisation of textile screens in collaboration with the artist Wolfgang Aichner
