The row-house, built in 1978, was devastated by a fire in 2018.

The concrete construction of the floors and the brick-envelope remained intact and could be reused.

Within the given shell the house was reconstructed as a modernised version of itself. Its interior spacial layout was altered as the new owners required more rooms. The new dividing walls were executed as sliding elements wherever possible, to provide flexible uses and to allow for the temporary connection of small spatial units.
